Flex Coaching for 'life after competitions' (LAC) begins by assessing which of the 7 landmarks you require the most support in.
Once this is identified, you and your coach will tackle between 1-2 landmarks at a time, together, giving your focused attention. Once significant progress has been made or the goal within that area is completely realised, you can move on to other areas that require attention. If nothing else, you are ready to graduate from coaching and enjoy a better-adjusted life after competitions.
Read more about the 7 coaching landmarks below:
MOVEMENT:
Explore different styles of movement after completion that you enjoy, is practical, and are in align with whatever your new goals are. Training like a bodybuilder forever is not necessary unless you want to.
NUTRITION
Shake off any unhelpful eating habits (or disordered eating behaviours) developed during bodybuilding. Learn how to eat 'normally', which will balance enjoyment, health, and flexibility within a routine.
PERSONAL IDENTITY:
Broadening your personal identity beyond 'just a bodybuilder' to support people out of an identity crisis after competition and reduce feelings of disorientation, FOMO, & lack of community.
BODY IMAGE
Explore different styles of movement after completion that you enjoy, is practical, and are in align with whatever your new goals are. Training like a bodybuilder forever is not necessary unless you want to.
MOOD REGULATION
Develop tools to manage intense emotions or moods better. This helps you act in a way that aligns with your (post-comp) goals, not your emotions. We tackle this from 2 angles, drawing from proven and up-to-date research in psychology, neuroscience, and behavioural science.
STRUCTURE
Discover a realistic routine for life after competing for all elements of your life. This may look vastly different from the extremes of competitive bodybuilding but it is incredibly important for feelings of well-being, hunger management, productivity, health, and reducing overall effort.
MINDSET & MOTIVATION:
Staying focused where there's a comp date approaching may come naturally, but many struggle with the most basic of plans once comp has passed. Using the most up-to-date research in psychological science, we give you the tools you need to patch any leaks in your mindset and motivation.

This FAQ list below is for former competitive bodybuilders only who would like coaching to help adjust to life after comps. If you are not a former competitor and want to make a personal transformation, please see more info for transformation coaching HERE. For athletes who have more comps in the future, see THIS page.
